Stacy Milrany put up a Little Free Art Gallery in front of her Seattle home based on the concept of a Little Free Library. She watched as around 100 pieces of free art changed hands in a matter of weeks. (Winnie Westergard)

At Stacy Milran’s art gallery, visitors are encouraged to walk away with the art.

Her Little Free Art Gallery in Seattle, which opened for public view on Dec. 13, sits five feet off the ground inside a white wooden box in front of her house. It only showcases pieces of art that fit neatly in a pocket.
