Kourtney Kardashian and Travis Barker are engaged: See pics from the proposal
Travis Barker and Kourtney Kardashian are taking their love to the next level.
The pair — who have been dating for about nine months — are engaged after the Blink-182 drummer proposed in Montecito, Calif., over the weekend, Page Six can confirm.
Barker, 45, asked Kardashian, 42, to marry him at the Rosewood Miramar Beach hotel surrounded by an elaborate display of red roses and white candles. He wore a black and white striped shirt and dark pants while she rocked a flowing black ensemble.
Kardashian confirmed the exciting news on Sunday evening, posting two pictures from the proposal on her Instagram.
“forever,” Kardashian captioned her post, tagging Barker, who re-posted the image on his Instagram Story.
He later shared a similar snap on his feed with the same caption as his new fiancée.
The musician’s 15-year-old daughter, Alabama, also shared several photos from the special evening, including a snap of a smiling Kardashian showing off her gleaming diamond ring while her fiancé kissed her cheek.
“So happy for you guys,” the teenager wrote. “I love u both ! @kourtneykardash @travisbarker”
She also posted pics from their post-engagement dinner celebration, which was attended by the duo’s family.
Kim Kardashian was also there to celebrate with her sister and soon-to-be brother-in-law, and gave fans a better view of the stunning ring by zooming in on it while filming the pair kissing at dinner.
The piece of jewelry features a delicate band and a hefty oval-shaped diamond.
Though they’ve been friends for many years, the newly engaged couple only started dating at the beginning of 2021.
But despite their short romance, Barker and Kardashian have been inseparable ever since, packing on the PDA while traveling, attending red carpet events, on social media and more.
Most recently, the two couldn’t seem to keep their hands off each other while hanging out backstage at “Saturday Night Live,” where Barker performed with Young Thug.
This will mark the first marriage for Kardashian, who famously dated Scott Disick on and off for many years. The two share three children together – Mason, 11, Penelope, 9, and Reign, 6.
Barker, meanwhile, was previously married to Melissa Kennedy from 2001 to 2002 and Shanna Moakler from 2004 to 2008. He and Moakler share Landon, 18, as well as Alabama. Barker also remains close with former stepdaughter Atiana De La Hoya, 22, Moakler’s child from a previous marriage.
