If you couldn't possibly imagine enjoying a burrito bowl or barbacoa soft tacos at Chipotle without a side of guac or queso, the chain has a new promotion with your name on it. Starting today, customers can play Chipotle's interactive game "Buy The Dip" for a chance to win free crypto and promo codes for 1-cent guacamole and 1-cent Queso Blanco.
Starting now until Sunday, July 31, which is also National Avocado Day, customers will have access to the "Buy The Dip" online game. More than 500 lucky players will win crypto during the duration of the promotion. The generous pay outs will range from $1,250 to $35,000, and will be given in Bitcoin, Ethereum, Solana, Avalanche, or Dogecoin.
"We want to build the next generation of Chipotle fandom by connecting with the Web3 community," said Chris Brandt, Chief Marketing Officer at Chipotle, in a statement. "We're excited to bring positivity to the crypto conversation by empowering fans to 'Buy The Dip.'"
Given that Chipotle now accepts digital currency, customers will be able to use any cryptocurrency they win through "Buy The Dip" to buy food at Chipotle with a Flexa-enabled app.
To play "Buy The Dip," guac enthusiasts can visit www.chipotlebuythedip.xyz. Upon accessing the site, they'll be prompted to sign into their Chipotle Rewards account or create a Chipotle Rewards account. When the game starts, the crypto line chart will move and they'll have the chance to click "Buy The Dip" to win free crypto, 1-cent guac, or 1-cent Queso Blanco. If a prize is offered, players will have 15 seconds to claim it or swap it. And if luck isn't on their side, they'll have the chance to try again.
Don't want to play games? No worries. Chipotle is offering 1-cent guacamole to all rewards members on July 31, National Avocado Day, when they use the digital-only promo code "AVO2022" at checkout on the Chipotle app and Chipotle.com.
