Doja Cat Wore Fake Eyelashes as a Mustache to Viktor & Rolf's Paris Fashion Week Show

By Alyssa Bailey

Doja Cat's Paris Fashion Week style will certainly go down as unforgettable. After showing up all red in 30,000 crystals and body paint to Schiaparelli's show earlier this week, Doja struck again with a viral look at Viktor & Rolf's show: her in a mustache, goatee, and brows, all made from faux eyelashes.

After promising fans she'd go out in lashes, she kept her word, just placing them in less expected places. Shortly before the show, Doja hinted to her fans that Mr. Doja Cat was coming on her Instagram Story. “If lashes are what you all want, then lashes are what you'll get. See you at Viktor and Rolf 🥸” she wrote.

When asked about her look at the show, Doja explained to Nylon, “a few days ago, I did Schiaparelli, and people were saying that I didn't have lashes, and that they were disappointed that I didn't have on lashes yet I worked with one of the greatest makeup artists of all time, Pat McGrath, and so today I gave them lashes. So I hope they're happy. I just want to make people happy so...”

She added that she loved being at Paris Fashion Week “and expressing myself here.“

McGrath posted a closer look at Doja's Schiaparelli glam earlier this week, applauding her for her endurance during the nearly five hours it took for glam. “Such a pleasure working with the gorgeous @DojaCat and the amazing @DanielRoseberry on the ‘Doja’s Inferno’ look for @Schiaparelli’s FW23 Haute Couture collection,” McGrath wrote on Instagram. “Doja’s sublime patience during the 4 hours and 58 minutes it took to create the look with #TeamPatMcGrath, which was covered in over 30,000 hand-applied @swarovski Crystals, was inspiring. The final product was a magical, mesmerising masterpiece of sparkling brilliance. xx”

It Sure Looks Sydney Sweeney Is Marrying [Spoiler] in Euphoria Season 3

By Alyssa Bailey

Spoilers ahead for Euphoria season 3.

Sydney Sweeney’s real-life wedding is off, but she seems to be getting married on TV. Footage of Sweeney walking down the aisle in a sleeveless corset wedding gown have surfaced on social media as the actress films Euphoria’s third season. Fans quickly spotted a big clue regarding the identity of Cassie’s husband: A large C&N emblem appears on aisle, hinting that she’ll be saying “I do” to her high school boyfriend Nate (played by Jacob Elordi)—that or Cassie marries someone else with a N first name.

LaineyGossip pointed out that Elordi was photographed in L.A. on Sunday, where the third season is currently under production. Alanna Ubach, who plays Cassie’s mom in the show, appears with Sweeney in the wedding scene.

Is it real? Is it a dream sequence? Only time will tell, but hey, at least in some universe, Cassie has never ever been happier.

In August 2024, Sweeney spoke to Cosmopolitan about Euphoria’s upcoming season, which will include a time jump so the characters will no longer be in high school.

“We did have a long time between season 1 and season 2, but especially now with the time jump, it’s a new process for me [going back into playing Cassie for season 3],” she said. “I’m kind of just learning as I go and being open for whatever’s to come. But I’m also really excited—I love Cassie. She is always such a thrilling character to play, so I’m really looking forward to what’s gonna happen in her life.”

She’s also excited to reunite with her co-stars, including Zendaya and Maude Apatow, who plays her on-screen sister. Going back to set “feels like I’m coming home to my family,” she explained. “They were the crew and the cast that were there at the beginning of my career. We all came up from different places but came together and were navigating so much at the same time, so it’s really nice having that core group. They’re experiencing a similarity to what I’m going through. It’s nice to have that community.”

Step Inside The Museum at FIT’s New Exhibit ‘Fashioning Wonder: A Cabinet of Curiosities’

By Samuel Maude

The Museum at FIT is renowned for its exhibits dedicated to the art, history, and business of fashion—and its latest opening is certainly no exception. “Fashioning Wonder: A Cabinet of Curiosities,” which opens today and runs through April 20, features nearly 200 ready-to-wear pieces and accessories mined from the museum’s permanent collection.

For those who are unfamiliar with the term, cabinets of curiosities, a.k.a. wunderkammer in German, historically showcased the incredible collections of elite members of society, many of which inspired designers working in fashion today (think: recurring animal motifs like butterflies and birds, as well as “the history of the cabinets, their links to colonialism, and the connections between curiosity, creativity, and collecting,” according to exhibition notes).

To fully examine the breadth of these cabinets, Dr. Colleen Hill, the Senior Curator of Costume at The Museum at FIT, divided the exhibition into 10 themes. “Specimens” explores an interest in the natural world, including works by Tiffany and Tom Ford; “Aviary” looks at feathers and birds, culminating in a bird cage in the middle of the exhibit; “Anatomical Theatre” examines the human body, taking inspiration from bones, muscles, and limbs; “Artisanship” unpacks the craft of the cabinets; and “Kunstkammer” (translation: chamber of art), features fashion inspired by fine art. “Reflections and Retractions” has works with reflective materials or kaleidoscopic designs, and “Illusions” looks at artistic mirages in fashion. The last two sections of the exhibit feature tangible and interactive elements, with “What Is It?” quizzing visitors on now-retired accessories and their use cases, and “The Senses” inviting them on a journey using sound, touch, and sight.

Aimee Lou Wood Says She Received an Apology From ‘SNL’ for Their Treatment of Her in ‘White Lotus’ Spoof

By Aimée Lutkin

On Sunday, actress Aimee Lou Wood shared a series of Instagram Stories in which she weighed in on Saturday Night Live’s portrayal of her character on The White Lotus. The live sketch show aired a pre-taped spoof of the popular HBO series called “The White Potus,” replacing most characters with members of Donald Trump’s family. Wood’s character on the show, Chelsea, was portrayed by cast member Sarah Sherman.

The sketch joked about Trump’s back-and-forth with announcing tariffs and the negative effects on the American economy. Sherman’s version of Chelsea mocked her mannerisms and included prosthetics that appeared to exaggerate Wood’s teeth.

In her Stories, she called the sketch “mean and unfunny.”

Not long after, she shared a post with a filtered selfie, writing, “I’ve had apologies from SNL.”

She also shared some more specific thoughts about why the portrayal bothered her, saying, “Such a shame cuz I had such a great time watching it a couple weeks ago. Yes, take the piss for sure—that’s what the show is about—but there must be a cleverer, more nuanced, less cheap way?”

Wood shared a comment from a viewer who remarked on the fact most of the other caricatures in the sketch were politicians and that the accent was off. She added that if they’d nailed that, she would “respect the accuracy.”

The Sex Education star did say, “On a positive note, everyone is agreeing with me about it so I’m glad I said something instead of going in one myself.”

The sketch did appear to go over well with the audience when it aired, in part due to some surprise celebrity guests. Scarlett Johansson popped up as Ivanka Trump, who sneaks out of a meditation session after being warned against “material things.” Jon Hamm appeared as RFK Jr., threatening to give everyone measles. And Lizzo starred as an American whose 401k had fallen dramatically in the wake of the tariff announcements.
