Who am I and what is my intention? I am Micah, a life long thrifter, eager traveler, devoted tree hugger. Growing up in the late 90s and early 2000’s I spent my childhood dreaming and playing with the neighborhood kids. We put on musicals, started a band, and made movies with our mom’s camcorders. I was always the “stylist” putting together iconic outfits for our next great performance.

From child to teen I spent summers volunteering in my Grandma’s nonprofit thrift store which both birthed my love for sustainable fashion, and the start of my growing collection. In high school I started styling my friends and by the time I graduated college it became my passion project that turned into a dream come true. I am a believer in the limitless potential we each have to become and do anything we put our hearts and minds to. We are ever evolving. Ever changing. As is our fashion.

My intention is to create a conscious community of makers and creatives ready to serve the world by example through sustainability. Happy Spell is quickly expanding internationally and with the growth of sustainable, attainable fashion - fast fashion brands that profit off the exploitation of people will soon go extinct. Human trafficking and slave labor are the realties of MANY popular fashion brands. Casting a Happy Spell over the world is my way of creating a solution for one of the biggest, most corrupt industries worldwide.
