For the past few months, Timothée Chalamet has been having more fun than anyone else on the red carpet, and despite the press tour for A Complete Unknown being over, there’s no doubt that the actor is going to continue flaunting his unique style with “if you know, you know” references that prove he is a true fashion lover.

Case in point: Chalamet attended a Los Angeles Lakers versus New York Knicks game on Thursday evening in L.A., where he wore a cozy and colorful fit that seemed casual, but actually had a lot to unpack.

Timothée Chalamet attended a Los Angeles Lakers game in an archival Raf Simons jacket.

Looking like he was ready to warm up with the team, the actor zipped into an archival Raf Simons sweat jacket, which originally made its way down the runway as part of the designer’s Fall/Winter 1997/1998 collection.

The off-white, high-neck jacket was covered in zippers, including one that cut diagonally across the fabric and fastened all the way up the side of Chalamet’s neck. It also featured a purposeful discoloration at the bottom hem and sleeves.

Chalamet paired the jacket with a set of parachute pants in bright blue.

Meanwhile, the actor seemingly winked to both the Lakers and the Knicks by sporting a set of parachute pants that looked like a modern take on Knickerbocker pants (a tribute to the Knicks) in an eye-popping blue (the color of the Lakers). (You can hear him explain the pants reference here.)

Chalamet is seen wearing his new go-to shoes of late: Uggs.

Finally, he tucked his pants into the cozy shoes he can’t stop wearingtall Ugg boot—which many of us rocked through our middle school years, and which have been making a comeback. He also threw on a black-and-white trucker hat that he wore backwards.

Now that awards season has wrapped, it’s nice to see Chalamet taking a break from the Bob Dylan cosplay and just being his silly self.
