Michelle Obama knows that marriage isn't always rainbows and butterflies all the time. Sometimes, it can take compromise, hard work...and putting up with a partner's quirks. On the premiere episode of her and her brother Craig Robinson's new podcast, “IMO," Michelle revealed her biggest pet peeve about her husband—and the 44th president of the United States, Barack Obama. And it's so relatable.

“Barack, you know, he had to adjust to what on time was for me,” Michelle said to Robinson. Her brother and co-host joked that Barack's tardiness was because he "was on that island time,” referring to the former president's Hawaiian roots.

Michelle went on to provide an example of why Barack was late, citing his tendency to run to the restroom right “when it’s time to leave."

“I was like, ‘Dude, a 3 o’clock departure means you’ve done all that,’ you know, it’s like, don’t start looking for your glasses at the 3 o’clock departure,” she added.

Michelle noted, however, that after 30 years of marriage, Barack has "improved" his sense of time.  “He’s improved over 30 years of marriage, but that was a ‘you must adjust,'" she said.

On the other hand, Michelle said that the couple's daughters Malia, 26, and Sasha, 23, have learned from their father's mistakes. “They’ve learned how to snap to it,” she added.
