Tom Cruise Hung Out With Ana de Armas Again

One month after sparking romance rumors, Tom Cruise and Ana de Armas have been spotted together again. This time, they were photographed arriving at the London Heliport via helicopter on Friday, March 14, and they were also seen at the very same spot the night before, according to People. Where were they coming from? Where were they going? Thankfully, an anonymous source has (some) answers.

Speaking to People, a source reaffirmed that Cruise and de Armas are not involved romantically. Instead, they were apparently accompanied by director Doug Liman, as the actors are “teaming up on an upcoming project,” per the tabloid. Liman has previously worked with Cruise on Edge of Tomorrow and American Made, so this checks out. But you can’t blame us for remaining curious about Cruise and de Armas as a pairing.

The actors were last seen together grabbing a platonic dinner in London on February 13. A source previously told People that the shared meal involved “discussing potential collaborations down the line” and “appeared to have no romantic connection, just friends.” Their agents were also apparently in attendance. They left the restaurant with their leftovers in tow, which sounds like pretty unsexy, non-date behavior.

Neither party has commented on the nature of their relationship yet. Following their first get-together last month, de Armas was seen stepping out with her apparent boyfriend, Manuel Anido Cuesta, who is the stepson of Cuban president Miguel Díaz-Canel. She was previously linked to Ben Affleck — the pair met on the set of Deep Water and was the pandemic “It” couple until their split in late 2020.

Perhaps the real question is: What do these two talk about when they’re together? Stunts? The impending release of Mission: Impossible — The Final Reckoning? Does Tom like Cuban food? Hopefully we’ll get answers during the 2028 press tour for Untitled Cruise–de Armas Project.
