Ben Shelton and Trinity Rodman Hard Launch Their Relationship on Instagram with Kissing Selfie

Ben Shelton and Trinity Rodman have gone Instagram official!

The sporty new couple confirmed their romance on Monday, March 17, as Ben, 22, posted a selfie of him and Trinity, also 22, kissing on Instagram. The stars were snapped embracing while standing in an elevator, Trinity had her arm around Ben’s neck while kissing him on the cheek in the image.

“I been focused, but I’m steady climbin’, I’m nowhere near my peak,” wrote Ben in pic's caption. 

The tennis player also included other snaps of himself in the carousel including a shot posing with his dad, former professional tennis player Bryan Shelton, and a friend outside a parked private jet.  

Soccer player Trinity, who is Dennis Rodman’s daughter, responded in the comment section, “Shooters shoot I guess 🤭👀.”

The sports star's comment comes days after she and Ben first sparked rumors of a romance when they were flirting over TikTok.

On March 6, Ben posted a TikTok video of him listening to GloRilla and Jorjiana’s song, “ILBB2,” which includes the lyrics, “They say shooters shoot Duke Dennis whats up with you.” Text appeared over the clip which read, “T****** wsp with u," leading fans to believe he was referring to Trinity. 

She then posted a video seemingly in response to the clip on March 7 in which she mouthed the same lyrics. However, text also appeared over the clip which read, “_ _ _ wassup w you,” as Trinity smiled while pointing at the message.

Trinity was previously in a relationship with professional football player, Trinity Benson. The pair confirmed their romance on Instagram in May 2024. 

Ben, meanwhile is the son of Bryan and Lisa Shelton, who are both former professional tennis players. He became the youngest U.S. Open American men’s semi-finalist in 2023, after Michael Chang in 1992. 

Trinity is the daughter of Dennis, 63, and his third wife, Michelle Moyer. In December 2024, the National Women’s Soccer League star said on the Call Her Daddy podcast that she has a “difficult” relationship with her father.

The former NBA star later posted a public apology to his daughter on Instagram. “Sorry I wasn’t the Dad you wanted me to be but either way I still tried and I still try and never will stop," he wrote. "...I will keep trying even when you’re being told as an adult not to respond to my phone calls. I will try even when it’s difficult and if it takes a long time.”
