Gwyneth Paltrow and Meghan Markle are putting rumors of a rift between them to rest!

The Goop founder and CEO, 52 — who often does question and answer sessions on her Instagram Stories — used the interactive format to address one follower's question about her relationship with the Duchess of Sussex, 43, on Tuesday, March 26.

“Are you comprehending the Meghan Markle beef that social media says you two have?” one fan inquired.

“I genuinely do not understand this at all, whatsoever,” Paltrow said directly to the camera while standing in a kitchen where utensils could be heard clinking in the background.

The Iron Man actress then turned to someone sitting off-camera beside her and asked, “Do you understand this?”

As the camera panned, Meghan appeared onscreen, sitting comfortably at the same kitchen table and enjoying a slice of pie as she motioned that she was clueless about the matter.

Their sweet but brief video comes after Paltrow’s Vanity Fair cover story published on March 18, in which she opened up on whether or not she sees Meghan’s new lifestyle brand As Ever as competition.

“I was raised to see other women as friends, not foes,” Paltrow, who lives in the same Montecito, Calif. neighborhood as Meghan and Prince Harry, told the outlet. “I think there’s always more than enough to go around. Everybody deserves an attempt at everything that they want to try.”

Another woman is never your competition,” she added.

Paltrow also clarified that she did not know the couple personally, despite living near each other.

“I don’t know Meghan and Harry,” she told VF. “I mean, I’ve met Meghan, who seems really lovely, but I don’t know her at all. Maybe I’ll try to get through their security detail and bring them a pie.”

Before launching As Ever and her new cooking and gardening series, With Love, Meghan, the mother of two had a lifestyle and cooking blog called The Tig, which launched in 2014. She closed it down in 2017 as her relationship with Prince Harry, 40, progressed.

Meghan recently held a screening for the new Netflix series in early March, where she surprised a special group of her fans who have followed her since the days of her now-defunct lifestyle blog.

Like the Duchess of Sussex’s The Tig, Paltrow's Goop started a home and lifestyle weekly newsletter in 2008.
